The Greenville Learning Opportunities Endowment Fund was created by the class of 1967 in memory of their classmates and others who have passed away, but cared so much for the Greenville Schools that they wanted to live on through our children.
These funds are housed with the Maine Community Foundation and will accumulate to $15,000.00 before allowing the interest to be spend each year by teachers who apply to use the funds in creative ways to benefit our children. We are hoping that the creation of this fund is the first baby-step to the creation of a more organized system of accepting donations that will open up additional avenues for future fundraising to benefit the Greenville Schools and the children we serve. It is also our hope that this newly established fund will assist the Greenville School and community to harness the power of our alumni.
We are truly lucky to have individuals who have graduated from here, moved on to lead successful lives, and still understand the value of small rural schools, especially to the community of Greenville. It is through charitable giving such as this that our schools will continue to grow and prosper into the future.
